Left Hand Golf Clubs

When I'm not making huge amount of money with my cash lab experiments, I like to knock a few balls round the golf course. Having recently cashed in using my Roulette Strategy I decided to treat myself to a new set of golf clubs.

Free Roulette Strategy

I have developed a Roulette strategy that is working wonders for me and have decided, at least till I can prove that this strategy has worked for others, at which time I will package it and sell it, I'll be sharing it for Free to CashLab readers.

I have tried a number of Roulette systems, read loads of roulette tips and analysed a number of Roulette strategies over the years and coupled with inside information (Worked for an online casino for 4 years) I have now devised my own strategy.

Roulette Strategy Foundation
The foundation of my Roulette strategy is the law of averages. With this the aim is to remove the "luck" element from the game plan and rely more on the universal laws that surround probability.

The basic idea is to watch for and identify patterns in numbers which come up during play and then at the right time to place a bet against the pattern along with using a staking plan which gives you the advantage.

Right, the results are in, but before you read them, if you haven't read the introduction I posted on Lay Betting, read the article Get Paid to Get Layed.

Now I mentioned before that I have no real gambling experience (Other than working as a programmer building banking solutions for online casinos) and know very little about horse racing, so I had to do a little reading on the sport before I got stuck into the Lay betting experiment.

Here are some key points that I have learned:

It's easier to Lay bet than back bet as picking a loser is easier than picking a winner
People who Lay bet generally have a calculated formula
There are some great Lay betting formulas out there to purchase
BetFair can be a lot of fun, but if you have an addictive personality, stay away!

Right, so as you know the main objective in these experiments is to turn a profit, so I intended to arm myself with the tools to do so. Make sure you do this in this order:

So, that's a £25 ($50) profit for 2 hours work, well its was actually a lot of fun with all the excitement.

You will notice that same races I scrapped, this is because the formula I used recommended that it would be difficult to pick a loser accurately for these races so I did not place a lay bet.

This Lay betting this has got me pretty excited. There is about a 92% strike rate if you use a good formula. That said 8% of the time you may lose, but generally you win, and apparently if you stick it out, the long term results can be a good monthly income.

My next step is to try out something else a came across which is a piece of software you can download which, based on a formula can automatically place your bets at BetFair without you having to do anything. Basically, Start the program, Go out for the day, come home and review your daily winnings. Sounds cool, I'll check it out and let you know how that goes.

Get Paid to Get Layed

Before you get all excited, this post is not about earning money while getting busy with your lady (or getting busy with your man, sorry ladies, this post is indeed intended for men and woman :) ).

So the other day, I'm chatting to a mate of mine who is telling me about a mate of his who is earning a living sitting on his arse at home, watching telly and and being online. Now, "making a living" is a small understatement, we are talking about $2000 and more a day.

How is he doing it? He is doing whats called "Lay betting". Whats "Lay Betting" I hear you ask? Well hear me out, I know nothing about betting of any kind, I'm not a gambler, but was intrigued by this story. Apparently, there are companies out there called betting exchanges, the biggest of which is BetFair. Betfair allows you to be the Bookie by laying bets on Horse racing and pretty much any other sport you can think of.

Now placing a "Lay Bet" is effectively betting on who is going to LOSE. You can either put a Back bet, where you bet on who is going to win, or a Lay bet where you win if the horse you chose to lose, does indeed lose.

The idea is that it is much easier to pick a loser than a winner, especially in Horse racing as you base this on the odds.

I smell and new Experiment says the prof!!! I'm of to sign up with BetFair, do some reading on Lay Betting, and work this experiment, I'll post the results in a few days.

Milking It

Ok, I know some of my readers have been getting pissed off with the delay in posts around some of the experiments, but to be honest, I have been seriously milking it with one of these experiments, so much so I have little time to do much else like posting here. That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it!

Anyway, the experiments continue and I will continue to post, gonna try for a feedback post every 2-3 weeks. If that's not good enough for you, well go read another blog, it not like there is a shortage of choice out there.... but, if you want quality info, real statistics and a connection to a Guinea pig like me who is putting up loads of cash to make mistakes on the experiments so you don't have to, they keep reading!

Ok, here is some feedback on the Lottery post.

I'm playing the UK lottery regularly now, it's actually great fun, I've spent more than I've won so far, but not that much more, my biggest win so far was on Euromillions last Friday £89.00 - Nice!!! Who's to say my next win wont be £88,000,000 which is what the Euromillions jackpot reaches every now and then.

So, if I have spent more than I have won, why is this blog title "Milking It"? I hear you ask. Well let me tell you. I joined the uklotterylive.com affiliate program and have been driving traffic to it from some other commercial sites and some email marketing. Here is what I did:

Got some banners from their affiliate tools
added the banners to a few of my sites
Got my affiliate link and mailed it to friends and family

After doing this I sat back and forgot about it for a month. When I logged back in to check my affiliate reports, let me tell you, I almost fell off my chair.

Lottery - One sure fire way to improve your chances of winning

As part of the Cash Labs Lottery experiment I have been looking for ways to improve your chances of winning on any lottery (as most lotteries have the same structure).

Now let me tell you there are hundreds of people out there who will claim to have the winning formulae for guessing the right lottery numbers. From services that you subscribe to which ask you to fill in details about the draw and then generate you a number to other services that will predict the correct lottery numbers based on historical data and number frequency.

Some people believe that scanning historical data and comparing the frequency a particular number occurs along with understanding which machine was used to dispense the balls (some lotteries randomise this) is the best way to get winning numbers.

Well all that said, I have my own theory and here it is:

Firstly, lotteries (if not rigged) ARE COMPLETELY RANDOM! You cannot predict an outcome of something that is random and not calculated from some base algorithm. However there are a few sure fire ways to improve your chances of winning the lottery, here are a few:

Buy More than 1 line or ticket - This may seem obvious but seriously, if you are going to play the lottery, try only play every second week but when you do play play as many numbers as possible, this instantly improves your chances of winning!
Join a syndicate: There is a reason that most big lottery winners are part of a syndicate. Why does this work? see the point above. Sure you may ultimately take a smaller cut but your chances of winning are much bigger.

Ah, the lottery, poor mans poker someone once called it. Lotteries will be the next experiment in online profits here at the cash lab. While the your chances of winning the lottery of pretty slim, there are still plenty way to not only improve your chances of winning, but to also make money from selling lottery tickets.

In recent months the Internet has seen a barrage of lottery scam emails. A lot of these have seemingly originated from the Netherlands notifying you of your million Euro winnings waiting to be collected. It's a good ploy, most of us can only dream of such instantaneous wealth so are quite easily lured into whatever scam follows submitting your details to one of these scammers.

So, not being in the business of scamming people, but rather looking for ways to profit online, lets get started with this next experiment. Here is the plan:

Casino Affiliate - Getting Started

So, I mentioned before that I am a web application developer by profession and have been for the past 10 years. Well at least half of that time was working for one of the largest developers of online casino gaming software. Why am I telling you this? Well the next Cash Lab experiment is centered around the online casino gaming industry.

Next to the sex industry, Online casinos generate more money on the Internet than anything else. Owning an online casino is a very expensive and risky business, expensive because licensing the software costs millions and risky because there is lots of competition.

The easiest way to get a piece of this massive pie is to get involved as an Affiliate. Affiliates are the online casino owners best friends and are responsible for generating players. If you are a good affiliate, expect the casinos to treat you well, I mean like pay for you and your family to go on overseas holidays, buy you cars etc. Seriously, good affiliates keep casinos ticking.

This is going to be a two phase experiment.
So here is the plan for the first phase:

Find a casino that pays really good affiliate commissions
Find a unique selling point
Purchase some advertising space online
Send referrals directly through to the casino from the ads

Here is the second phase plan (dependant on success of first phase):

Sign up with another 4 casinos
Put together a web site promoting each casino in terms of what they offer
Find ways to drive traffic to this website
Send referrals to the casinos from this site

ClickBank - Products Chosen Site Done

Right, so I have registered at ClickBank and chosen the product which I am going to initially promote. Choosing the right products, although I have never done this before, was pretty straight forward, basically search for the highest ranking products by Conversion rate and get those.

So what is the product? Well basically I will be promoting 3 different "Paid to Take Survey" programs. Ok, so they are not exactly products but they offer people a quick and easy way to make some extra cash by participating in online surveys, sounds good to me, although I personally can think of more prductive thiings to do with my time than take surveys, like writing this blog for instance ;)

AdSense - Ready to Rock

Right, so as you can see (on the right hand side of the page) I have managed to setup some AdSense ads. It's was pretty easy as I already had an AdSense account which I use for another business of mine but If you dont already have an AdSense account, it appears that creating one, in particular creating one for a Blogger blog is dead easy.

Blogger belongs to Google so does AdSense so I guess the ease of integration between the two is to be expected. When I first started the Cash Lab blog I was using WordPress.com which I later discovered do not support using AdSense on their hosted blogs. Bit stupid if you ask me. I mean, I like most Bloggers, enjoy writing and sharing with our readers about things we know alot about, but we also need to pay the bills.

Here are a few AdSense tips for you:

If you want Adsense on your hosted blog, use Blogger
Dont ever click on your own AdSense ads, firstly it's unethical and secondly Google is not stupid, they see coruption coming a mile away and will close down your AdSense account in a flash
Try make the AdSesnse ads blend in with your sites design, if the ads look less like ads and more like part of your sites content, your vistors are more likely to click on them.

As the AdSense experiment continues I will keep posting more tips.

AdSense - Getting Started

The Cash Labs blog (what you are reading now) is an experiment in itself. This particular experiment is all about generating online profit using the Google AdSense program.

Now if you don't know what Google AdSense is then I can pretty much guarantee that it has touched your life in some way. To get a full explanation of the program go here, but in summary, when you search on Google and see the “Sponsored Links” appear down the right hand side of the search results page, those of advertisers who pay for their ad to appear there through another Google program called AdWords.

Now AdWords advertisers can choose to have those ads displayed on other websites that have relevant content. Those other websites subscribe to the AdSense program and earn money whenever someone clicks on an ad displayed through the AdWords program on their site. Confused yet?

Here is my plan (should help make things clearer)

Sign up for a Google AdSense account
Find out how you display AdSense ads on a Blogger blog (the one you are reading)
Hope that the content on my site produces high paying ads
Hope my readers find the ads interesting and click on them
I make money each time someone clicks on one of the ads

ClickBank - Getting Started

Right, so today I kick-off my first experiment in on-line profits. To be honest this is not my first time attempting any sort of on-line business, in fact I have spent a significant part of my working life making other people wealthy.

The first experiment I will be working on is something that I have in fact had very little exposure to, ClickBank.

Basically ClickBank is a company which re-sells digital products online for vendors through a network of Affiliate marketers. You can check out the full description of what they are here, but to some it up, lets say you have a product to sell, you would sell it though ClickBank by offering a commission on each sale to the ClickBank network of Affiliates who will in turn sell your product through there own website.

Now here is my plan:

I am going to register as an affiliate on ClickBank
Find what looks to be a good selling product or products
Put together a web page to market the product
Come up with a plan to generate traffic to the page mentioned above

Inroduction to Cash Labs

So, what is Cash Lab? It’s is simple really, Cash Labs is a web log carried out by myself in an attempt to create a publicly accessible diary of the experiments I will be carrying out in an attempt to discover how best to generate profits on-line.

There are hundreds of on-line business models all creating millionaires and also creating a lot of time wasting for those that are ultimately not so successful. I am in the fortunate position to have been a professional web application developer and architect for the past 10 years.

I plan to use this experience along with the internal drive I have to eventually find myself in a position where I am able to generate profits on-line in a consistant stream and ultimately ending in some sort of financial freedom that i believe most people desire.
